Both say immediately FINDLEY Timothy born in 1930 did not experience the war it evokes, his novel, very likely, is constructed from a material, solid, but it certainly does not have the originality lived. It follows a series of scenes that respects nothing chronology since the author knows the ins and outs of history with the great H.
Some parts on the War itself, are stark truth and they have nothing to envy of other great authors that préfacière quotes in his presentation, but the construction of this book left me with mixed opinion especially as the transcription diaries of Robert knowledge, the hero of the novel refers to a host of characters that disappear as soon as they were mentioned. In short this should not discourage me to read "The Headhunter" by the same author but it looks a paved, so I hesitate ...
