Who has never seen such a laminate cutter, the cutter must not imagine razor sharp. Therefore, my first thought was, how should this blunt metal cut the laminate?
So I tried it immediately. The cutting is almost like a knife through butter, so totally easy and without great effort. It can be cut boards to 20 cm width.
The cutting presses at the intersection of a small part of the board. This one has more minimal wastage as with the saw, but it is almost free of dust.
The interface itself is still very frayed. But as a rule, the ends are covered by skirting boards is not a big problem. If you want to move remains visible, the cut ends must be sanded. Here the product description is therefore incorrect:
"Clean GRATLOSER section".
The jigsaw is needed anyway for additional recesses at corners or for pipes, etc.
The enclosed material support is a good idea, however, would have to be secured against slipping slightly better.
Conclusion: a good, though not perfect alternative to jigsaw - 3 Stars!
