My kids (5 and 7) were quite disappointed by the dough: Trying to complicated multi-colored figures from the book series "Fabulous Destiny of plasticine" manufacture, suggested quite out. The dough is so soft, that the figures are not very stable and slightly "sag". Fine details cancel or apart quickly. The colors did not hold together well, so heads, bellies, eyes, wings, etc. broke away again and again from one another. Store in the air and re-use may be the figures certainly not: The clay dries in the air from within 1-2 hours. Not only that the figures then crumble apart completely, they can no longer even use. In principle, it must be immediately returned to use in the can so that the children do not have time to look forward to their creations. (Or you have to constantly buy more clay - maybe that is the deeper meaning?). I can imagine that Play-Doh is a fine thing for small children up to 3 years due to its soft consistency and the non-toxic formulation. You it is indeed mostly even more on the process than on the product. However, since that bothers me the sweet marzipan-like odor - which could lead an infant to eat the dough. Positives: because the crumbs dry quickly, they are relatively easy to remove with a vacuum cleaner.
