It was (almost) anything different than expected! Getting started is easier and better made than in any other Ghost Recon titles. The gameplay has been revised dramatically and now leans more to "blockbuster" games.
Still, there are crucial differences that make Future Soldier for a refreshing mix of tactical action and brutal fire power.
Technically makes the game a good to very good impression. The soundscape is great, the weapon sounds have finally the necessary "oomph" and the music also fits excellent to the scenes. Stuttering or like I have not seen so far, the action always runs smooth over the screen. Only in the short cutscenes I can wahrnehmnen occasional falter and sporadic tearing.
One shortcoming is perhaps the relatively "economical" option menu, which was really designed only for essentials. Control alternatives or customizable in-game ads in vain. The subtitles and languages can be set via the Extra-menu on the local options. I had not even discovered and thought that the subtitles are mandatory program ;-). Overall, a few deductions in the B-Note.
Conclusion: For pure tactics foxes the game may not be entirely satisfactory. I personally like the action-packed gameplay again 'ne corner "better and the AI comrades make autonomously an excellent job. For all shooter fans a hot tip!
