Have a Sony DSC HX5V with NP-BG1 battery
The batteries have indeed fit into the charger, but the electrodes are positioned incorrectly!
Although there is only 1mm but the batteries are not charged.
The problem was with my Sony original battery and with the enclosed batteries, therefore
I assume that the problem lies with the battery tray produced inaccurate when charger!
Return to Sender!
