Sound spectrum:
Contrary to the descriptions here I find the board not very loud, but that's already a very subjective assessment,
because everyone has different benchmarks. It is quieter than my last hard drive, but of course heard compared to my new SSD. At idle, it is quite unimpressive (very small voice), in read / write mode it hums still relatively quietly to himself. I do not think that producing 7200 U / min, a louder noise than 5200 U / min. Rather, I can imagine that even decrease with more U / min the vibrations.
Speed:
The speed is unrivaled as mentioned in 1TB 2.5 "HDDs at the moment.
If you like it fast, to pay a lot to smaller plates (500GB / 750GB), but even then the speed benefits are given only a few manufacturers and in these cases only marginally.
Is much faster because only one SSD and I would be dimensioned for cost reasons only for the operating system and frequently used programs.
Shelf life:
At runtime, the hard drive, I can not say much because I own only since 3 days.
However, should they be premature bless the time, I'll add here and adjust my rating accordingly.
Warranty:
I read now only in the reviews, that it was about to see an OEM product. Probably the only available on the disk itself, which I have now already installed in my body and does not want to expand again to investigate. Should this be true, however, and instead find a defect in the third year, I will take the supplier well in the responsibility. Finally, he mentioned in the article description and not on the bill I sent to them not a word that it is OEM goods! To conceal that there instead of 3-year warranty only two years dealer warranty, in my view would not only be a joke, but I think is misleading advertising.
But since I do not even go out of the case that the plate is broken within the first three years and to date works perfectly I also give the full number of stars.
PROs:
+ For 2.5 "& 1TB storage capacity very quickly
+ Relatively quiet
Cons:
- OEM goods?
From me, saying (to be confirmed) a buy recommendation!
