Ingredients:
The oven consists of a red pot, an intermediate cover and a top cover which is moored with 4 brackets. Add to that a wide putty knife with a fluted surface (which I never use). The intermediate cover and the top must be so placed that enables the vents against each other.
The pot can in the dishwasher (upper floor).
My first copy had (has the Amazon of course exchanged) a crack in the top cover but actually affects the whole very solid and sturdy.
Rice:
Enter up to 500g rice into the pot and double the amount of water. Then at 800 watts in the microwave. A serving of 160g (uncooked) rice takes about 15min
Potatoes:
Wash the potatoes, add a little water, so that the ground about 1 cm high the water is.
A full bowl has used the Me 800 Watt 30min, Turn halfway through one to two times the potatoes.
Noodles:
500g Fussili fill in the pot and fill with enough water until all noodles are just so covered. 12min swell at 800 watts. After about two thirds of the water drain. (Caution: If too much water is boiling it over, too little noodles are dry, but over time you develop a feel for) stir the pasta once and ask again for 10 minutes at 800 watts in the microwave.
Conclusion:
The steamer is totally awesome! No more than boiling water, no pot which you have to keep in mind. I put the rice in the microwave, go take a shower and when I get back is my rice ready.
Quantities are limited, of course, but 500g pasta or rice, depending on the supplement intended to make 2-3 people tired of an extended family can be so but of course not feed.
For me alone or the two of us this is a super Inverstition which is used several times a week.
