One of the best albums of Iggy Pop. The ingenious Not Clubbing has become many familiar only through the Scottish cult film Trainspotting. And China Girl we know more from the throat of Iggy Pop's old pal David Bowie, who has scored a hit so many years ago. Nevertheless, Iggy Pop version I like better, it's much less commercial-sounding, eccentric, bizarre. Although The idiot is not just a new plant, but one of those who always somehow remain current, which can be heard over and over again. While it's not exactly the best record of Iggy Pop, but many will not surpassed - by Lust for Life certainly, possibly even by American Cesar. (This is an Amazon.com at the university-student review.)
