In Quentin Tarantino's films, the music always plays a central role. It serves the atmospheric implementation of the action on the screen. On the other hand, you get the effect of the film (also by the interspersed dialogs) as a listener quasi again reinforced. He is always oriented in his song selection, which has traditionally been very tastefully and failed. So even with Part 2 of "Kill Bill". Yet somehow, the magic is gone in this soundtrack. Not that he was bad - on the contrary. But it lacks the ingenious moments earlier works. Although the contributions of Ennio Morricone (older recordings) course beyond doubt are raised (and the corresponding Mexican touch bring), missing this soundtrack the surprisingly ingenious touch. Neither Shivaree (average), and certainly not Malcolm McLaren's remake of the Zombie - Songs "She`s Not There" are particularly outstanding. Better is then already the choice of Johnny Cash's "A Satisfied Mind" Meiko Kaji or "Urami Bushi" - perhaps Charlie Feathers. On average: slightly worse, and not quite as cult suspiciously like the other Tarantino - Soundtracks.
