Especially the feelings, views and fears are told from the perspective of Dr. David Hunter emphasized, which contributes much to the voltage. Perfectly described and analyzed is the life in the small village - the intrigue and the sudden mutual distrust .... The book is great, you think you know what happens next, who is the murderer, etc. but the plot winds back and forth, offering to every turn a new surprise. In the narrative act faster and faster, you can not put down the book at the last hundred pages. Highly recommended (would have expected even a trace chemistry, but the information that are there are pretty interesting). I find the book very well done and definitely worth reading!
