Now after I had completed the first part and I though the cinematic presentation, graphics (I rate any games after more than 7 years bad, but stay there really and just realistic as Nintendo players) and also the initial riddle liked, so I just could not to conclude why this game so many enthusiastic. Was it easy at the time (I think it came out in 2007) a graphic revelation? At least that is not the main point for me, I love to play and the graphics are actually never been the decisive point with me, but rather a nice, consistent story, great gameplay which although just go out of hand, but may I ask already and some replayability.
Now I jumped on Uncharted 2, I've played in front directly on Normal (difficulty 3 of 4 initially) and minus. My death I have had to recognize a running time of approximately 10 hours. As long as I would not feel this so, but I have perhaps found only 60 of 100 treasures in the first run and when you're on trophy hunting, then of course this can still be a lot longer. However, I have probably not the urge, there again to lend a hand ... and here are my reasons:
But first the positives:
The story is much better than in the first part, I was bound from the beginning to a much better plot and graphics has improved significantly!
The cut scenes more reminiscent of an action movie, because they can really see through camera angles and editing that you have since made an effort.
The puzzles are also this time a little thoughtful and I was allowed to deal with one or the other longer.
The scenes are terrific staged and many locations are very varied.
Now, however, the points that have prompted me to, but not more than 3 stars to be awarded:
First, before the game:
I have inserted immediately after the first part of the second in the PS3 and thought, I'm playing the game times at least briefly. After about 1 1/2 hours patches and updates draw (33MBit / s line) I had it then changed my mind and moved it to the next day. I know that after several years of a game that has accumulated one or other update, but the update sizes are so big that I almost thought that have half the game again released for download! In addition, there was no kommulativen patch, but after each came a new verification and each time came the next download even shortly thereafter.
Although the control of Nathan going quite well out of hand, however, there are simply far too many sections where you have to jump eg from a bar and the smallest angle exceeding lets him then jump almost 90 degrees different from what a suicide led. Even when the abyss was only 2 feet deep or the water is only knee deep under.
The more towards the end of the story went, the more I was overcome by the thought of Part 1, where only one shooting after another was still handled by hose Level at the end. That's exactly what I disliked about part 1 and the most has not improved too.
Also came as in Part 1, yanking ... There came again towards the end of critters that nobody needs ... While the variety of the (human opponent) of about 4-5 different units is not exactly high, you had the end over naturally strong "Guardian" pounce. Why can here not even stay with human opponents? The critters from Part 1 have already given me the end maggoty, here I have (in the negative sense) just waiting for that something like this happens again ... really comes the bad only with me on? From then on, I am just by geballert only with "head" style and have longed for the end ...
Uncharted 2 brings in terms of eye candy a whole corner more of the PS3, the scenes look beautiful and the story is not quite already clichéd as in Part 1. However, I liked the hose Level Annoying Geballere easy at all, because it only changes the venue. One could again - if you had found a new area with a couple of coverages and (pott ugly ... why ???) had seen pop-ups of weapons - assume that again come crawling out of all holes 1-2 dozen opponents. The AI has certainly improved since a little, but this has to "throw more grenades", only in the form of show which one so often had to leave his guard.
Although I liked the many Abschitte with eg train or truck convoy visually, but it was again only a change of venue of another Geballers which then seemed really too monotonous after a while.
Finally, let me say that I was like an action-heavy adventure film entertained, however, had but the gameplay to complain about so many things for me that I want to give no more than 3 stars. The first part I've rated 2 stars, 4 stars for this part would be a double increase or a "nearly" perfect game and I have not seen, I also have part 3 in front of me.
