440 Watt 3 minutes: The egg is completely unimpressed and totally raw
600 Watt 4 minutes: The egg white began to be, but not yet fully
700 Watt 4 minutes: The egg explodes after 3.5 minutes (what a mess!)
600 Watt 6 min: Something was still slimy from protein.
Then we ran out the eggs. We suspect that 600W 7 minutes then collapsed. But that is about as long as an egg in boiling water needs, and that is, the microwave cooker brings absolutely nothing. I suspect that a hard-boiled egg is easier to make, but also takes longer.
