The shoes are visually appealing, and see even after prolonged wear like new. Not as nice is the long warm-up time, which can be quite bloody and painful for Dr. Martens shoes are but apparently known. A web search shows that many people have problems with the running-in, and there are strange advice replaced the rich filling of hineinurinieren up with Vodka or gasoline. Particularly annoying I find, however, that are not at all the shoes waterproof. To go short with the shoes through the rain to work without problems, but who is going through a meadow in the rain or occurs in a walk in the woods in one way or another puddle will return home with completely soaked socks. Apparently, the seam between the sole and upper artificial leather is not sealed. I will no longer buy my shoes, but that they offer about as much water resistance as Chucks they are too expensive.
Update 04:01:15: The sole is in some places already completely expired and has cracks. The boots I bought the end of January 2014. So keep about one year. Conclusion: More expensive waste.
