The drivers for the device have been serviced by Windows XP / 2000. In Windows 8, the operation is possible only in the virtual XP machine. There is a free driver for about 20 !!! on the Internet. Otherwise the device for home use was not bad. But with a device for home use should be drivers but for more than 3-5 years to wait. So never again Canon !!!
