I certainly know the interpretations of Bruckner by the unusual and admirable Chelibidache, but honesty makes me say that I do not personally own the CD. The five stars are "extrapolated". I do not think taking big risk.
I just wanted to say that I listened here a day or an issue of France-Music on Chelibidache, representing traditional interviews. The profound relevance of what this leader said about the composer, both musically, specifically architectural and orchestral, that the human point of view, landed on its strength stubborn peasant face hostility, which digs its groove snow, rain or shine, attached to a load of unprecedented violence against the obtuse and stubborn cretinism of the conservative and academic criticism have left me speechless.
I knew Chelibidache was a great leader in the technical musical intelligence, by his inner vision, for the hard work that was required and he imposed on others. I know now that he possessed the supreme secret that makes them immortal interpreters - the intelligence of the heart.
