The plot is much more complex than in the first volume. We learn that Irmine would linstigateur of writing, belief that reveals human future, which speaks of a certain King Silence everyone expects but this is him and Allena allegedly awakened the ghosts.
We are in a dark tome with lots Drafting and revelations. The book is punctuated, we alternate characters: Akinessa, Karmalys, Allena and Arsekers, Irmine and his wife Kassie
Javais fear membrouiller between the protagonists but each has its own role, its own character and they are all developed with each other. Women are not left at the back and that is fine as well, what we see are strong, courageous and well highlighted in this volume, compared to the first.
I liked lalternance between the past and the present, the period when lived with the blind and Allena their research on dragons, and one where Kassie must take the crown.
As in the previous volume, I found that some chapters were hanging in length but the universe is truly original and makes me want to know the result which is also the last volume of the trilogy.
