"The Puppeteer" made me curious because of cover and the game description. Then took place during several hours of play quickly, the disillusionment.
The game is beautifully designed with great attention to detail. All levels take place on a stage and the player is motivated with cheers from the audience. Moreover Kutaro has yet to find a schwebenen helpers at his side to help him, hidden heads and coins. All this has me drawn directly into its spell.
The controls are simple and is explained right at the beginning of the game. Should you ever get stuck on a mission, even aid on top of the screen are displayed. That's degree with respect to the intended audience from 6 years very good, because the tolerance to repeated attempts not yet here is so high.
However: fully convince could not get the game. The missions themselves are indeed varied, but in themselves rather boring. You have to do the same thing again and again, only the level of difficulty varies slightly. So it seemed to me that I'm very hurt by a mission of the thumb, because I just had to control only up Kutaro.
The floating helpers are indeed cute, but as declarer now and then just annoying. So I had to stop every time Kutaro if I wanted to control the helper, because both were together too complicated for me. I also think that especially children might have difficulty here. Couple While this is simple, but requires collusion, otherwise runs Kutaro or simply flying the helper past bonus coins and hidden heads.
I thus also the biggest gripe am: the heads. It is very amusing that Kutaro gets different skills with different heads. However, it can store only 3 heads at once in its inventory and loses an old head, while collecting a new one. In addition, not always the heads are available that may be needed for a bonus level or the like. I thought that was a pity and I think that this would also be better able to solve.
Conclusion: a charming game that but, at least for long gaming sessions, is boring. Therefore I can only recommend limited the Game.
