I'm a little disappointed:
- There is no bag fabric.
- The focus is very noisy
- It does not allow editing of AF (the ring is hard, and the manual recommends not touching it). It is of course possible to change the mode to manual focus with a switch
- The front lens, so the filter rotates during focusing, prohibiting the use of a pola (within stay in manual focus, locked on infinity).
- The supplied lens hood is useless in 70mm position, there are almost as many "flares" or not. It is recommended to mount and dismount mode manual focus is otherwise little damage the AF mechanism.
In contrast:
- Chromatic aberration is actually quite discreet
- Macro mode is convenient, but accessible only from 180mm. Remote debugging mini 95cm: ideal for taking close-up insects.
- The absence of vibration can be compensated by the amount of sensitivity, recent devices can afford it.
- Focus ring is graduated, it is sometimes useful. moreover, it is very soft to handle. (Unlike the zoom ring, rather harsh, especially at 300mm)
- Considering the price, I can quickly take a 50mm f / 1.8.
Last remark, read the manual to understand how the macro mode: do not force the macro mode focal ring, so do not force the button if one is not in a developed focus range compatible with the normal mode ". (Imposing to return to manual focus)
