As eBook readers, the device is very good. One should, however, the firmware can be downloaded from the website of Odys aktulaisieren. If you want to read more complex PDF files, you should install Adobe Reader for Android and Vu Droid Reader additionally. Very good is the eBook Websiete of Odys where you can registriren using the serial number of the device.

In order to mobile surfing via WLAN and read emails, the device is also well suited. However, it is rather difficult to write e-mails, because the operation of the keyboard on the resistive screen is not always easy.

Other features of the device such as the MP3 Player, the video player and the calendar function very well. More apps can be meinstens install probelmlos. battery life is absolutely fine. Under full load with WLAN and bright screen, the device holds by about 6 hours. When the device is used as pure ebook readers without WLAN and with lowest screen brightness, the battery lasts 8 to 10 hours.

For a price of 200 the Odys Genesis is a very nice device!
