What a no-go, however, all the settings especially on the touch screen. For scans all standard side are set to Letter. But not only that annoying.
You can NOT save the scan settings. A search request at Lexware revealed that this is not desired.
Ie scan before each one must always adapt these settings (before really! Any! Scan)
- Letter => A4
- Color => Grayscale or B / W (one need rare color scanning)
- Contrast and brightness are the last menu items, but the most commonly used settings changes
If the touch screen would react least quickly, then you could also live with. But so?

- I would buy the 5500 pro again?
- Yes, if I want to use the as printers and copiers. But then there are much cheaper printers
