Oh man, why?

Since it would be the last the entire Irish Tour by Rory 1973/1974 appear on CD in a box and then something like that.

With me flew 3 of 8 CDs / DVDs before immediately on the table because they no longer were in their unstable pockets. To make matters worse was then also the web should hold the concert in Dublin Carlton Cinema, the two CDs completely torn (no wonder with the piece of paper).
I wonder now times in all seriousness what Donal Gallagher thinking? He would have time to look at the new editions of Led Zeppelin boxes. So this is done properly ... and then you are also willing to spend a little more than a fan !!!

About the music I need (I guess) nothing to write, but well above the supposedly mastered sound.
Unfortunately, the remains also far behind my ideas. Ok. Rory never Hatt placed particular emphasis on crystal clear and clean productions, but also a lot has gone wrong.
The already mentioned appearance in Dublin Carlton Cinema has more than bootleg format and the rest is in my ears no better than the earlier botched remastering.
Everything sounds much too bright and too narrow Gerry McAvoy's bass playing is usually only be guessed at and the good Lou Martin hammering on the keys and you still do not get quite what he plays with. Only Rod Death drumming is quite good to places and to hear.

Best of all you really buying the original LPs, because you have the best sound ... but it is missing then of course the entire Irish tour !!

As Rory Gallagher fan, I'm totally disappointed in this box and Donal can only guess it either the next time to make it better, or to let it be easy.

Can recommend you this box really anyone.
