In The Inner World Your slips into the skin of the orphaned Robert. Robert is a novice and ward of the wind Fountain priest Conroy.
"Wind Well?" is now the one or other issues. Yes, wind wells. When Roberts world Asposien it is, in fact a ball round the world, which lies in a universe consisting of only earth. Asposien but a big problem is the country going from the wind.
Thus the Asposier not suffocate, there are wind wells. Once there were three wells, which ensured a stiff breeze, but now 2 wells have dried up and only the priest Conroy supplies the population with air. To make matters worse the Asposier are then also hit by wind gods, which petrify the population.
At this point, actually Robert comes into play. Because one day (which is reminiscent of the most important day in his life him) stolen by a bird and Robert makes his way this chain rediscover Conroy chain. He applies not only to the desired profile by Laura, but also on a secret that should remain hidden
Equal first I want to say that it is The Inner World, with a playing time of 6-8 hours, to be a relatively short adventure. However, I chalk this stake does not negatively, since betrayed openly and honestly even in the trailer that the game time is in this framework. Visually the game is the way I like best, namely hand drawn. The characters are quirky, colorful and always have a (more or less) funny dorms. The story is quite nice, but in my opinion, derives from to not all possibilities, which raises the universe from Earth (which in itself is a wicked fun idea). There is one other point which I found a bit unfortunate. Unfortunately, one does not really grow the characters to heart. In Adventures is not about me so often that I might gain some characters simply loving, unfortunately. This problem, however, is probably the short playing time owed.
Of these 2 criticisms aside, I find the game very well. For genre experts, it is a nice afternoon activity and for genre newcomers it is a very good place to start, because the puzzles are not built illogical. That being said, the game takes a. Through an extensive alerting on hand if we should not get ahead times
The game is controlled with the classical, popular and old-proven point and click control (probably the only truly real control for an adventure;)).
Finally (for the review is already longer than planned) I would like to comment briefly on the presentation of the game. The game comes in a thin slipcase Digibook therefore (without Flatschen) and visually gives a very nice impression. As little extras are 2 postcards A Sticker & a crochet pattern in, and a small guide for Asposieninteressierte. On the & whole, a very nice presentation.
CONCLUSION: A very nice adventure, in which I had to think twice whether I should give 5 or 4 stars. I decided ultimately to distribute 5 stars for the overall package, the game (from the aforementioned criticisms) should be limited to 4. Especially newcomers genre, which always wanted to play an adventure game, I put The Inner World fond.
A side note:
Should you wish the game on the laptop to play, it might be in a game chapter come to a problem, because you have to re-enact a melody in a sequence, but the Lapi keyboards conduct not always the signal entirely on (I had the problem that is also) , Here you can create in 2 ways remedy.
