I can confirm, however, that:
- The lamp is difficult destructible
- They can provide bright light
- Comfortable in the hand
- The light color is cold white and pleasant with drought than the usual bluish lights of most lamps
However, I have a few months use must note the following points, which go already negative towards:
First, the point with the greatest shortcoming that is less important:
- Once the batteries have reached a certain point and you want to switch from the darker to the lighter of the two stages, the LAMP SIMPLE suddenly remains rather just stay in the darker stage! One must then short wait (about 1-2 minutes) until any light level can turn it back on in the pitch black! This is not at all easy!
- With conventional Varta or Duracell BRANDS! - AA batteries initially relatively light enough (the first half-hour), then continues in the brightness decreasing, although not quite as fast. Which aims to move most of the time in the 70% range of the maximum brightness. Sounds a lot, but when you consider that the luminosity Just scratch with fresh batteries to the threshold of a pleasant and sufficient brightness, the then existing, felt 70% again too little.
- Batteries last (of new and very light to empty and barely turn on.) About 10 hours, while the most pleasant light output can be obtained in the first hour. After decreasing and getting darker.
- Barely visible case of rain / wet conditions and associated darker substrates which the cone of light, as long as the batteries are brand new - white light, like the lamp produces it, is simply "swallowed".
- Very bright spot in the middle (spot), so to lean or local area illumination, for monitoring and patrols rather unsuitable.
- The protective glass of the LED consists of plastic, making it unbreakable, but scratched extremely fast, so you then see any marks on the light beam with.
For use on the construction site, this lamp is well suited with security, but not for the security service. I'd probably order for leisure again, but not for work.
