Regarding the cable, no problem whatsoever for charging or sync my iPhone 4.
For cons, I had a nasty surprise with the cigarette lighter adapter. Indeed it is not compatible with taking my 306 Style 1995 (I know it's old but I thought it was standard ... well it seems not). By cons it works perfectly in the Citroen C4 of a friend.
I bought another commercially and this one works. It is less compact but it works;)
