My Raspberry is brand new, I have not made any changes on it (diode change or other ...). I plugged the adapter into the HDMI output, VGA my cable to the other end of the adapter, and I turned on the whole. Guess what ... well it just works.
I know a lot of people like me need to plug their Raspberry on a monitor that has no HDMI; they know that with this adapter model, it works. I detail you still test conditions:
- Raspberry PI with the PSU sold to him in RS (5V, 1200 mA)
- USB ports: one with a 32GB USB key, the other with an infrared receiver (IR606Q)
- No connected network
- The HDMI / VGA adapter, connected to a HP Compaq LA2205wg monitor (VGA input of course)
- OpenELEC 2.99.1 (3.0 RC1)
