If I say old fashioned I mean it in a very, very nice way - this book is well told, has great characters but it's not at action-packed book where you are searching for Dante's hidden message in to antique Templar building. Thank God for that. It's clever, well written, it shows you how manipulative politics can be and Urquhart is fabulous villain. You'll not like him, but you can understand his motives. A little bit dodgy: The end. Since there are more to Urquhart books the finale of this is a little bit - hmm - it would work if it's a standalone. That's the only thing not so enjoyable about it, but it's a minor fault.
