All in all a great deal and now the notebook is running well. But the way there .... phew. After the initial installation Win7 pro64bit, all drivers from the Lenovo support site downloaded and installed. Sometime after installing the graphics driver began flashing / flickering. As long as both graphics cards were activated, heard the wild flickering (= image of / image from approximately 13 Hertz) is not on. Only if you disable one of the two cards, stopped flickering. Well, after I have all possible (and impossible) drivers reinstalled or updated, I have the entire system reinstalled: The Starter Wife. This time I have awkward respected exactly sure to install all the drivers in the correct order. As orientation served me the documentation of the enclosed Win8 driver CD :) After everything was installed, the flickering started again and although the shortcut menu appeared the graphic qualities of both cards, only the AMD card lies not start. :( After the next restart, the flickering was gone but ..... hmmm? Then I made an update of IE8 on IE11 and noted with dismay that now graphic objects, such as the Google logo flickered. However, the speed of the flicker changed with the fact that the AC adapter is plugged in. In addition, since flickering of the screen started again when I was using the Aero style. So search the internet, a newer Intel driver found installed -> flickering remains .NET Framework4.5 updated and runtergeschmissen old versions -> flickering remains Drivers of Intel Energy management checks -> currently AMD drivers from Lenovo uninstalled and reinstalled several times (the reference is expressly made !!!) -> flickering remains By Lenovosupport repeatedly telephoned, no tip worked, the people there have confirmed to me that I must have done everything right, they are clueless ^^ The last thought then, if that's all nothing helps me and only left to return the thing, I do it out the orginalen Catalyst (AMD driver) install.
Tataaa! Worked. Any Poppup tells me though time and again that I should update now even the Intel driver (!), But the update can not perform themselves. The joke of the whole thing is, the Catalyst I also tried out during the initial installation. That was about the first thing I've tried ... several times.
Well, I would say, the installation of video drivers (especially since they are not supplied) is probably more a matter of luck (for normal users), but everyone must decide for themselves. The detail of my story is based on that I found relatively little help on the net and if the same thing happens to someone like me, he has another clue.
Four stars I forgive the one hand, because the driver installation SO is not easy - I found much easier in combination Intel HD4000 and Nvidia !!! And because I, the "sharp" edges on the housing not so great find. The current case of eg Acer, HP and Asus I think ergonomic.
