A further search at Amazon and the feedback on products let me do the final analysis, this machine stop, I ordered then also quite fast. That was my first device of Atika - thus to some extent a small jump into the blue.
The unit arrived quickly and had the same a lasting impression having to unpack without it - the package was just hard. At home, I then unpacked everything and off we went to the Assembly, which turned out to be without any problems. The motor / upper part is supplied in the collection container in stock and has to be taken out once since. This part is also therefore the most difficult of the entire device. The wheels on the lower frame are permanently mounted and leave a stable and not shaky impression. Also, the frame of the undercarriage leaves no doubt about its stability arise. The engine had now still on the base plan and is fixed there with 4 screws. One might think, "How, the hardest part is held only with 4 screws?" Yes, I was there too skeptical, but after a year and use numerous trips from the garage to the garden and again jerks back or wobbles here nothing - everything budge! To illustrate: the chopper is packed at the top handle, fixed down with one foot and then tilted so that it can be drawn on its wheels. The collector makes a somewhat unstable impression, yet even this has survived without any negative impact a year and many matches. This catcher is guided on rails pushed under the Häckslerauslass and must be hooked up with a latch up in the engine block in connection with a spirited little jerk. This is important, since otherwise the shredder does not work for safety reasons.
For work, I can only say that at its finest. The Atika LHF 2800 has everything swallowed up at branches, he got into it. One must first regulate something the distance of plate and roll, but I scored after a real harvesting results and not crushed. Here really were individual pieces of branches in the basket. Were chopped up so far: Thuja, Walnußbaumäste, ball acacia branches and innumerable hedges with different thick branches. All stuffed into the gullet and then you can hear only * tack tack tack * and it is. Stuck or clogged, the machine is not yet. The only drawback: the shredded material piles up at the outlet, but it takes a while until you here must be active. It then switches the chopper out, unlocked the cage, shaking this 3-4 times by sliding in and out of the basket through and everything is back in order. Then lock and resume work. The volume of the collecting basket is mMn sized lush, so you do not have to be emptied every 10 minutes about the basket. The roll of the chopper is extremely sharp, in fact - Attention! When switched off, I wanted to clean the roller bit and am only briefly stuck to a roll edge - it has properly bled, despite the comparatively small section. The volume of the chopper is absolutely fine and you have to have suffered an impairment even after 1 hour do not feel.
After a year of intensive use I think to be able to assess this product well and want to put it to anyone interested warmly. My shredder works as the day and also shows no Ermüdunserscheinungen - nothing wobbles or seems unstable. The device runs through properly and you quickly get such a pile of branches processed. Absolute buy recommendation!
