Graphics:
Since this is in this game is an open world game, I expect, of course no graphics à la Beyond Two Souls or The Last of Us. But since I do the game on a next-gen console games, of course I still expectations that a GTA V, Red Dead Redemption or Skyrim exceed (for console).
In Mordor shadow I'm a little torn. On the one hand, I like the character models, particularly the Uruk, very very good. Find them in great detail and also represented appropriately. On the other hand there is the landscape that I like graphically good, but is also, of course, designed to match the setting very monotonous. The vision is very manageable.
Overall, I am so satisfied with the image, but would like to see in the future just on the next-gen console a little more. Here I am for example very on Dragon Age Inquisition or The Witcher - stretched Wild Hunt.

Sound:
When sound there is not much to complain about. The music I find very consistent and also to match the setting, even if I would have perhaps desired the odd title of Lord of the Rings or The Hobbit, which would have been my personal desire. The speakers do a good job, especially Gollum with the German original speaker from the movies I noticed positively.

Gameplay:
Here is the issue, which is likely to separate the most ghosts. The gameplay. As in my title recognized, hiding in the shadow of Mordor gameplay of essential two games. The combat system is very similar from the game Batman: Arkham etc. while Talion be controlled very similar to the main characters from the Assassin's Creed games. Down to You may disturb and the others do not. I am probably the latter. Although I was the Batman games ever abgewinnen much, but the implementation of the combat system in Mordor shadow like it very much. Every now and then you might be a bit overwhelmed by the rather extensive control possibilities in the fight, but especially the executions are set in their Slow-Motion's well staged and real fun. When run, climb, crawl and jump like Talion almost like a twin Altair, Enzio and the rest of them. But again, I think that's not too bad, because it was just well done. Every now and then you run something clumsy front of a wall or hang times remains somewhere, but that's actually rather rare.
The greatest strength of the game is probably the Nemesis system that promises a lot of variety and personality. As it has already stated on several occasions, I do not go much closer a fact. I like the system definitely very good, because it's fun to see how the various Uruk-captains react when you meet them a second or third time. However, I am thinking that a little tweaking would be necessary also. To me it is now happening several times, simply did not want to die an Uruk. Three times I've "killed" him and suddenly he always came after some time and wanted to take revenge. In my eyes, maybe small ne logic gap, but that's criticism at a high level.
Although you do in principle always more or less the same, boredom has arisen with me so far.
For difficulty I want to say that this is quite mixed. At first it can really happen that you die one time or another, because of a whole horde of Uruk stand face to face. Later Talion is stronger and fights selbt almost any problem by a small army. Here perhaps a little improvement would be possible.

Story:
Let's talk about the story. This starts well, but faded with time but something. Especially when you lot to side quests and challenges, of which there are really reichlig, cares, comes the story, like many open world games, just too short. The story, however, is quite interesting in itself and you can learn quite a bit about how Sauron has led the elves to forge the Rings of Power.

Conclusion:
Overall, I can say that the shadow of Mordor a solid game for the PS4 is for me, but that very shortening the waiting time for me Dragon Age. It's fun to fight by the Uruk and turn off the main men specifically.
Improvements in terms of graphics, gameplay and story intensity remain nevertheless needed to make the game definitely a "must have" title.
If you should be unsure whether a like the game, simply borrow from the local video store and try out.
Whoever finds the Batman and Assasin's Creed games and good fun off, gets an A strong buy recommendation.
My review is, as always, rien subjective and criticism is welcome, of course. The latter, however please objectively and with anger eighth courtesy.
Happy Daddeln yet.
