"Once grasp, feeling deep in the blood ..."

... You have this song in the 17min version consisting of the instrumental "dream", the Impression "Daydream" and the actual hit "At the window". The About Song of City around the ambiguous text of Hildegard Maria Rauchfuß casts a shadow and hardly to be achieved is even here the whole CD worth. But that this was totally not a fluke, prove my highlights on this compilation:
"At night in my dreams": the desire, "otherwise who" to be here "blowing a wind of others" - some secret wish GDR citizen of that time, but also simply timeless good.
"America": clear statement to burst American Dream - "Forget the Sch ..." - of course, timeless ...
"From a distance": For me one of the highlights of City. Slightly ajar in the chorus of "the window", (almost) as good music with Bulgarian influences and a great text - "nei nei nei - until the end of the world".
"Casablanca": The tribute to the cinema classic comes with clear beats, simplem chorus - "Play it again, Sam, again and again ..." - and perfect harmony of singing and music - a real catchy tune!
"Peppermint Heaven": A song about the desire for liberation from the urban milieu - "... they will climb into the gondola and want to be somewhere else." - An unspectacular catchy.
About "At the window" I need now no more details attach just as much: In this hymn can be overlooked confidently about the two poor reinterpretations on the CD.
Conclusion: A CD with clear strengths but also some weaknesses. Because of the highlights of my visit (even) 4 stars.
