Before my stay abroad in Spain I did not know the company bq. A local friend has however the Aquaris E5, which I marveled at one day when it was on the table with an open mouth. The design had me immediately promised: On the one hand simple, yet makes the bi-color version quite a bit ago and then again I was amazed that it was relatively easy for its size, in my opinion. Since the Aquaris E5, as the name suggests, has only a 5 "display, but it was ultimately of no interest to me.
In order not to lose myself now in anecdotes, I will stop there: A few days later I went to Media Markt (in Spain) and discovered by accident the Aquaris E6 which a quasi Aquaris E5 FHD is in large format. Then I informed me a bit on the Internet, comparing prices, it ultimately ordered at Amazon.com and let it send me to Spain. Despite the additional shipping fees incurred and the tax difference, which I had to pay, I still can save 25 compared to the local average price of 300.
Now we come to the actual device. I will mention only the most important points for me, because it is not, this is a professional assessment. But if there should be any questions, you may like to ask them below.
+ Processing: How have already partially mentioned my Vorrezensenten, the processing of the device is truly a stunner. Otherwise I can not express it. I assume that here too the advantage is as with so many devices that the battery is firmly integrated. Nothing creaks or cracks, the feel is very pleasant for me, the plastic is very high.
+ Display: The Full HD resolution is completely sufficient at this size. The display is sharp, rich colors and black is black (you know what I mean). I personally can not understand the pixel mania, but each to his taste. Furthermore, the display is so bright that it can be easily read even in sunlight at maximum illumination. This was one of my biggest criticisms of the Galaxy Note 2, because I constantly had to look for a shadow in order to read or write a message to. Those days are finally over.
+ Battery: The battery was my Grade 2 with 3,100 mAh already not very small, but I'm partial not come during the day. The 4000 mAh of Aquaris' I could not to its knees yet. Two weeks ago, I got along for example with a small intermediate charge of less than 30 minutes in total for almost 30 hours and before bedtime 40% were even still left and this advantage I keep the mobile internet or wifi. The strange thing is that the device in the first few hours, according to battery level relative loses much of its charge, for example, 10% at 30 mins usage. From a value of about 75%, at least according to my perception, the charge level is reduced significantly slower.
+ OS: For Android I do not need to say much. The Aquaris is currently equipped with the Version 4.4.2 (KitKat). An update on Lollipop should follow well, but I would like at this point nothing wrong assertion. bq has a minimal impact to the system, unlike other manufacturers who make part of their UI operating system almost completely unrecognizable. The Aquaris comes with 2 pre-installed apps from the home BQ and some useful features have been added, such. As the ability to not only take a screen shot, but take a video from the screen. In addition, you can activate by double clicking his fingers the display as well as deactivate. This feature I find very handy as the attachment or off switch mounted on top of the device and is not easily accessible by the size of it.
In addition, all software runs beautifully liquid, thanks to the 8 cores and 2 GB of RAM. Crashes so far I could not list.
- / + Camera: The camera is, if it is bright enough, absolutely fine. However, shots that you make at dusk or in the dark, to use despite the dual flashes barely. The camera takes simply to insufficient light. The camera of my notes was much better in comparison.
o No LTE: This point does not affect me personally. That the device has no LTE module, of course, I knew before, which is why I rate this as a neutral point. I do not need LTE, so for me it was not a purchasing criteria.
A similar device of this size with this equipment and this unbeatable price I do not know. Therefore, I forgive no less than 5 star and follow with tension which BQ comes up with next.
