I am rather stumbled here on the Yamaha YAS 101, tested in the store first and the sound was really good. The design is elegant and beautifully simple and the price is Yamaha quality also absolutely ok. At home with Blu Ray then came across even more, the Air Surround technology with 7.1 sound is convincing and 120Watt be really loud. Bass and treble are good, but the dual-subwoofer ensures you forget partially that it is "only" about a sound bar. If that's not enough, still can connect an additional subwoofer. Nice is also that you have an infrared passage on the device, as you are the Soundbar always watching television, thereby blocking the IR receiver. Unfortunately, I was unable to provide the 101 features my Sony remote control of YAS. Therefore, I have the associated remote but use is small and convenient, but nothing special. Not so outstanding are the connectivity options, the device has no HDMI, so I connected the Soundbar via optical cable. Only I change the cable between PS3 and TV, which is cumbersome.
Conclusion: If you want to have a space-saving and stylish aussehnder Sound, at the YAS 101 Soundbar right!
