A very nice little book, which reads in one sitting. Everything has been said about Winston Churchill, almost but the angle of attack here is original: "how to become a man when it was neither accompanied nor loved even when one has been despised by a decidedly hostile father?" ... A question unfortunately still relevant ... The author, who denies being biographer, provides humorous answers and anecdotes that help to retrace the fabulous course of his subject and Chance that the "protect". This book is a good introduction F.Ferney for anyone interested in> I quote of course, and gave me the impetus to start soon the beautiful recently reworked K biography.
