An invitation, which brings me to sweat: description of my "favorite CD". How can man describe what he has never thought? Yes, but there are some favorites in my CD rack; but the one most loved? Hours pass until I the 'a' draw from among my loved ones and pets: Keith Jarrett, The Melody At Night, With You. It is probably the most with every listening refreshing, hypnotic effect of this CD that lets me make my choice. On this piano solo CD Jarrett plays up to two old folk tunes (My Wild Irish Rose / Be My Love) exclusively jazz standards, sound their title well-known and familiar. Nothing new, nothing unusual at first Blick.Doch same at first listen it happens, this is something that even on repeated listening always given on's new: the piano sounds and colors call to another world, a world extremely warm, affectionate intimacy. On idiosyncratic and very economical, almost modest-looking manner Keith Jarrettt brings the individual title for blades. By extreme sound transparency, coupled with a tremendous intensity to shine. I am happy to follow his imploring invitation to meditative contemplation.
