When I saw the first time over the top, I was very impressed by the music and decided me to get the soundtrack. That was then still on LP. The album begins strongly, with the unmistakable voice of Van Halen singer Sammy Hagar. WINNER TAKES IT ALL rocks like hell! 10/10 The quiet second piece IN THIS COUNTRY's a little corny, but listen carefully to the side. 8/10 The excellent TAKE ME HIGHER what's on the film credits is my personal favorite on the disc. 10/10 The flatly ALL I NEED IS YOU falls because as of yet, but is still ok. 6/10 The sung by Frank Stallone BAD NITE not particularly like it. It also does not match the rest of the songs. 3/10 MEET ME HALF WAY, from the then-popular Kenny Loggins is there again a giant leap upward. A hammer ballad! 9/10 The rapid Gypsysoul also like and goes straight into the ear. 10/10 THE FIGHT is the only instrumental on the album and sounds quite good in spite of too much synthesizers. 9/10 The second song of Larry Greene (by Take me higher) has become a little tiring, but already fits. 7/10 The final I WILL BE STRONG is it again a nice, no-frills pop rock song with a pleasing rhythm. 10/10 Bottom line, a recommended album for fans of '80s pop and rock music. Perfect background music and also good for long road trips.
