After I had "The Other Boleyn Girl" Read, my expectations were pretty high at this point. That's why I found "The Queens Fool" also very disappointing. Although I found the descriptions Elizabeth and Mary's very well done and captivating, but the subplot, ie how Hannah strikes through life, I found terribly boring. It could be exciting, but Hannah is a main character with which one can identify difficult, let alone that you mitfiebert with her. Therefore it is applied too unbelievable. I have repeatedly skipped major sections, for example, when trying again to bring their visions. That was already extremely ridiculous. I am glad that this was not the first book of the author, that I have read, otherwise I would have read no further from her. "The Other Boleyn Girl" is better by a mile and remains for me to now by far the best book by PG
