The N510 base station is operated with me on a glass fiber connection to the telecom. With the firmware on delivery only talks could be accepted. Even calling out did not work. An update was only possible with manual entry of the links to download: [...]. Then the N510 worked flawlessly. The new firmware 42 192 can now perform a SIP authentication on every call. That Introduced in 2009, the Telekom. Now annoy me two things. First, the Gigaset Hotline does not know that the auto-update the firmware does not work and then blame the error is pushed onto the Telekom although Gigaset four years is not able to deliver the N510 with the latest firmware, which has long been exists.
