This package is only for fans who really need to have all of Deep Purple. Why? 1. The tape was not recorded correctly with this concert. Paice, Glover and Lord (when you hear him because) play super together. Gillan has, however, to make any sounds especially at the beginning difficulties. One suffers with partly formally when he abquält be there. Blackmore is so full of adrenaline that he plays a) too quickly and b) hardly a solo riff. Generally one can endure the very dominant in the overall sound guitar barely. 2. The sound is indeed polished, but unfortunately goes Jon Lord completely under. The keyboards are actually be heard only during intros and solo. 3. There are better reunion concert with this lineup. Especially recommended is the 1993 concert in Stuttgart. Since all in world-class form and Blackmore plays divine. 4. For the fan of course it is interesting to have a complete concert from 1984. The playfulness is yes, even if it musically not run so smoothly, remarkably. This is but the best over to the DVD. What else is there to say that the presentation is top. The vinyl has a decent quality. But beware: On Vinyl "Child in Time" has been truncated. However, if you have CD and DVD, this is bearable.
CONCLUSION: As a fan you have to have that, even if there is wobbled in the men Blackmore and Gillan at the monument. As a newcomer, you should stay away rather.
