Mylo Xyloto: 10/10 pts.
A great intro to 'Hurts Like Heaven', this kind of 'climax' from 0:17 is a listening pleasure!
Hurts Like Heaven: 10/10 pts.
Strong deviation from the live version, but this is in no way inferior, it sounds fresh, beautiful 'pop', especially Buckland shows with his guitar riffs, what is in it.
Paradise: 10/10 pts.
'Paradise' just 'the climax of the violins to 00:31 is just fantastic! Somewhat reminiscent of the 'old' Coldplay.
Charlie Brown: 10/10 pts.
Again, slightly different from the live version, but very well done, also again with a nice guitar riff.
'Us Against The World': 10/10 pts.
More than 'tip' there is not to say beautiful song that fits in the period 2000/2002, the backing vocals of Champion fits nicely with the song.
'MMIX: 06/10
Yes, here I can be only 6 points, even if it sounds nice and provides a good transition to the next song, but is rather seen as a stopgap, but still audible.
'Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall': 09/10 pts.
A cheerleader on the CD a la 'Viva La Vida', successful first release from the album Sing, the electric elements not dip too much, but fits in.
'Major Minus': 09/10 pts.
Also a very good song, with one of the strongest songs on the album, the chorus is great.
'UFO': 09/10 pts.
Class Song, the guitar riff and the altitude Martins are somewhat reminiscent of the old times and show that the boys have not forgotten this 'old' Coldplay, the finale from 02:06 is beautiful.
'Princess Of China': 07/10 pts.
The new Coldplay, a good song, but a little too electro-pop standard. But still this song is good to hear.
'Up in Flames': 06/10 pts.
For me, the disappointment of the album, I heard it live, what bothers me about the studio version, is the bass, which replaces the bass drum and very 'boom' makes.
'A Hopeful Transmission': 08/10 pts.
A nice but short transition to the next song.
'Do not Let It Break Your Heart': 10/10 pts.
Reminds me also of Coldplay from the period 2002/2002. A beautiful song, with a great beginning, very powerful, the whole composition fits easily. The heartbeat at the end of the song is indescribable.
'Up With The Birds': 10/10 pts.
so
Conclusion: 5/5 stars
