-. Normal, normal / common bits (ie, with a "normal" male length of 25mm) sink into the bit holder of the extension so that you can not work with them and partly for the removal usually requires a pair of pliers ( one has here * kopfschüttel *). So if you want to use Nichtleatherman bits, you have either the back of the Indoors clog (which means that you can no longer use the Leatherman bits) or rely on long, z. B. 50mm bits or additionally a normal bit extension get that one then been attached to the Leatherman Bit Driver Extension.
- The anchorage between multitool and the bit holder extension has no solid lock, that is, the bit holder sits rather loosely on tool, something I do not like completely, when I'm working with tools.
(!) The price in the amount of currently 18 Euro is therefore in my view entirely inappropriate - neither functionality nor material costs justify m. E. this price.
My recommendation to everyone who therefore flirting with the Leatherman Bit Driver Extension because they want to use normal / good bits with her multitool:
Look times for comparing the ratchet or the wrench incl. Bit holder and bit extension to SwissTool Victorinox to. These tools are also attached along with the Leatherman in the Leatherman Molle II XL holster, so you can wear it all together compact in a holster.
The best combination in my opinion (which can be stored in well above Holster) is the bit holder from the Swiss tool Wera ratchet wrench for 1/4 bits and Wera Rapidaptor as an extension. Ratchet and Rapidaptor can be easily fixed to the side holster.
Short one word for Holster: The Leatherman MOLLE Holster II XL is ideally suited for all Leatherman multi tools of medium to large size (ie all those who are greater than the Juice). And as I said, even with a Klopper as the Surge, fit the above tools as still having inside.
The alternatives proposed by me, the cost is significantly higher than 18 euros, but this tool can at least work properly and the money is not out of the window.
