Have the earphones before ca purchased 3/4 year so I mitbekomme also some of my environment (eg. As in the office) (open system). But I was willing to accept compromise on bass. But I do not need, because the sound (incl. Bass) for my needs (jazz but also rock or classical) is very good is. Processing and comfort (no cable noise) are also fine. As a source, I usually use a Samsung Galaxy S2. I can recommend the earphone for this price (18) without restriction.
