The only shortcoming of the device is mE the (quiet) Noise during playback; when using headphones or enjoyment of noisy action movies is imperceptible, otherwise already present as a quiet whirring. Otherwise, the picture and sound are very good, the service is simple. Pleased me the enclosed Nero Media Server software, whose Mac version also works on Mavericks, so I can play movies, etc. from various hard drives and the Mac via the device.
