Blu-Ray Player
The Blu-Ray drive works fortunately very quiet and fast. I have tried several Blu-Rays and was played without any problems and without errors. Even burning CDs and DVDs, there were no difficulties. Even videos in MKV, DivX, WMV and AVI format could be played without difficulty. Furthermore, the Blu-ray Player 3D compatible. As my attached flat screen TV does not have a 3D function, I could not test this also.
Internet / SmartTV
The HT-H5500R home theater system includes not only the Blu-Ray player yet SmartTV function which is fed wirelessly via WLAN. If you want to connect the home theater system through a LAN cable to the Internet, for the is available on the back of a LAN connection. In SmartTV menu Apps YouTube, Amazon Instant Video, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Dailymotion and Picasa are available. You can surf the web as usual via the Opera browser.
Installation
Supplied located next to the Blu-Ray Player 5 speakers, a passive subwoofer, a manual and a remote control with batteries, as well as an FM antenna. The 2 rear satellite speakers each have a size of (WxHxD) 9.5 x 7.5 x 11.5 cm. The front speakers have the size (WxHxD) 9.5 x 7.5 x 14.5 cm and are firmly connected to the speaker cable. The cable length of the speaker, however measured extremely tight with straight times 8 meters. Those who do not make do with the cable length, is forced to cut the speaker wires and to extend with additional speaker cables and reconnect with wire nuts or electrical tape. The 5 speakers and subwoofer can be easily connected to the back of the Blu-Ray player. Now only the home theater system via HDMI cable must be connected to the TV. If you want to play back the television program on the 5.1 system, must this also connect an optical Toslink cable and change the changed sound playback in the TV menu (sound settings).

Conclusion
The purchase of this home cinema system has really paid off. The sound quality with Blu-Ray, but also in normal television picture is really good. The highs and lows sounds are super playing. The Blu-ray player works relatively quiet and fast. He is burned CDs and DVDs as well again as current Blu-Rays. The setting and the design of the home theater system make relatively simple and straightforward. Only the little short geratenen speaker cables have bothered me a little. The processing of the entire home theater system I liked very well. Who does not want to spend much money, getting for less than 250 euros a decent system.
