I was looking for a Blu Ray player, which also provides Smart TV functions. These are actually for me the most important (eg wg. Maxdome) because my TV does not include Smart TV. After many reviews and customer opinions study I ended up with the Samsung BD-F6500.

The device is an optical highlight and processed very well. Power, HDMI & Lan connected and off you go. The device is easily and naturally, the manual I have not needed. Thanks to dual-core CPU, the device is very quick and no comparison to my previous VideoWebTV box.

A major advantage of the BD-F6500 is, that you can change the image size of the Smart Hub. I always had the problem that apps such as PutPatTV were represented too large and partly the menus were not visible in the Apps.

First made the current Firmare update and then update the apps, only takes a few minutes. Then you can start at last. The device work quickly, the remote control also reacts very reliable. Max cathedrals, LOVEFiLM, Watch Ever, Putpat and all my other favorite apps function properly and also very fast.

By the way you can the Blu Ray Player with the smartphone app "Samsung Smart View" (iOS, free) control, so use the iPhone as a remote control.
