As TV Blu-ray player / Smart TV Access Point suitable /

The Access Point is working with me with a Netgear R7000 router together. He is my TV, the Blu-ray player and the Asus o'Play Air as an access point.
For my PC it would be unsuitable because of limited LAN ports with gross 12.5 MB / s. For each type of 1080p movies but rich 12.5 MB / s completely from which even exceed the maximum data rate of a Blu-ray player clearly.
Unfortunately works in 3m distance to the router the 5GHz - connection is not stable, always does my TV missing a LAN connection.
At 2.4 GHz but it works. Can be converted in a clear web interface which should not pose any problems.

Pro:
+ Access Point for 4 units
+ Stable 1080p streaming at 2.4GHz
+ Supple Firmware Updates
+ Easy to use web interface to configure
+ Also, a floor above the router good reception (but certainly depends on the construction material from the ceiling)

Cons:
- Limited to 12,5MB / s (gross) bandwidth, although WLAN AC could significantly more
- Instability in 5GHz (hope of a corrective firmware)
Other AC terminals work with the router easily at 5GHz.

Generally, USB 2 have no business (much. For disturbing problems in USB 3 connections and 2.4 GHz) and 100Mbit LAN with WLAN AC devices. Especially here I can not understand why no Gbit LAN ports were installed.

For my purpose as a media-device access point, the device is suitable.
