"True Blue" is equal to "Like a Virgin" my favorite album of Madonna. With this album they showed all over again her indescribable talent continued to storm the chart peaks and create unforgettable evergreens. Already the opener "Papa Don`t Preach" (already for 16 years my favorite song ever) is a class of its own and conquered 1986 summit of the charts. It has become almost as much as a hymn. This number is in my opinion, both from the musical artistic and lyrically just unique and makes hopelessly addicted. But this song is still long not the only Hitklassiker on this album! The fresh cheerful "True Blue" where the sky is full of violins, the slightly sad and yet demanding "Open Your Heart", the wistful "La Isla Bonita" full of longing and finally the sobering yet beautiful ballad "Live to Tell" also claimed their places on the charts and on the disk shelves in all households. Even the once suitable for switching off "Where`s The party" is worth in any case. Then there is the conclusion to this album "Love makes the world go round" with a serious nehmendem text that should really thought-provoking. The very lively "Jimmy Jimmy" is not bad either. Just "White Heat" I do not like quite as good. But all in all, "True Blue" just a brilliant, great album. Since one can only say, wer`s not simply get !!!
