The desktop set consists of four parts:
* Keyboard (Layout: QWERTY - German)
* Numeric keypad
* Mouse
* Transciever
The keyboard has soft keys that provide no sound when writing up even though they have a good tactile feedback. The letters are in the usual place, so that they are immediately found when touch typing. Only the block of cursor and function keys (Ins, etc.) is not settled, so here is a brief acclimatization is needed to find the keys accurately.
On the desk, the keyboard is not nearly as powerful as its predecessor and scores here by smaller footprint and design.
But design has its price: The connection of the keyboard-Shift-key and the battery cover are fixed with Megneten. That feels nice, but who wieiß whether the magnets hold in 10 Jahrne yet?
There are a variety of functional and special keys that can be programmed in part. My favorite: The Caps Lock key can be reprogrammed.
The mouse is - like its predecessor - only for the right hand suitable. That's too bad, because professionals also like wecheln hand. It lies well in the hand but has a deutlcih loud click. The mouse buttons I find cheaper plastic than its predecessor. The number of function keys has also decreased. Were there two buttons (forward / back), there are now only a blue Windows button (back).
The numeric keypad is an independent module. Unfortunately he will probably migrate into the drawer and are thus no longer generally used. Too bad, because sometimes he was very helpful, but disturbs now as an extra part.
The Transciever has become much smaller and located in the version 8.0 before. It can be submerged in the mouse when not in use. However, he continues to stand out more than two centimeters from the notebook. We saw that Microsoft even smaller. However, I can imagine that you need a certain size in order to ensure a good reception at the desk in the office.
Overall, the keyboard is for right to recommend a recommended development and unrestricted for sale. The ergonomic advantages of the keyboard are gigantic - the back is noticeably relieved, hands held automatically correct.
Who does not like the new soft keys, should now once again quickly establish a supply of Ergonomic Desktop 7000, because the keys with normalenm Hub have now become obsolete ....
Update: It is true Krass how Amazon treats preorder: Not only does the delivery date has not been complied with (2 weeks later), the price was 30 euros cheeky higher than he now, not even a week after delivery. Amazon pre-orders I can no longer recommend.
Update2: Two notes after prolonged use: The very small ESC key a bit annoying. The postition of Del, Ins and the cursor keys is not really convincing. At the cursor keys I got used to it quickly.
After updating our corporate computers, this keyboard is fine. Its predecessor, the mouse was disconnected :-(
