The battery is an original battery with 1180 mAh. Unlike visible on the image, the copy comes with 4.37 watt-hours, in the picture there are 3,885. It is a relatively new brand, in my case, of 27 July 2014 (ordered at 2:11. 2014) The price is good, cheaper, I have never found the original battery from GoPro. I think it is better to invest 20 in the original, as "cheap junk" to buy.
