The light output is surprisingly good for a 10 Watt LED Spotlight, comparable to about 100W halogen (compared to other emitters that I have in use). The light is cool white and cool, which me out but do not care. Anyway, my access to the house is beautifully lit with this radiator. The integrated BW detector is easy to adjust. Both burn time, sensor sensitivity and twilight setting are set via a rotary control continuously.
However, there are also a few deductions that have led me to only 4/5 stars:
- A guide is completely missing
- There are no marks on the body (except CE). The indication of the degree of protection is also missing (was supposed to be available). The provider declares the spotlight as IP65. Whether the spotlight now is really IP65 or a lower protection class has, will probably remain open. But when mind. IP44 he looks, he has rubber seals, the cable access is abgedichgtet correspondingly with rubber rings etc.
I have two of these radiators in use, one under a canopy, because I would be there anyway whether he IP 66 or lower is now, the other is exposed to rain and so far has "survived" 2 heavy rains, so I'm assuming that part is also waterproof really sufficient.
However, I have the parts only since about 2 weeks in use, so it will still be shown, how they will behave in the winter and autumn, and whether they can withstand the weather.
Conclusion: Relatively easy installation, low cost, good intensity, unfortunately too short line (an extension provides a layman might still problems), lack of information protection
