Anyone looking for a docking station for your iPod, has known the agony of choice between all the hand other products. I opted ultimately for the original Apple. My second favorite was the product of iTeufel (also makes a very good impression). Now to the Universal Dock: I use the iPod Touch. Unit fits through the supplied adapter wonderful on the dock. The dock itself has a heavy foot which just granted a stable on any surface. The sound transmission through the dock enhances the sound worlds !! The sync with iTunes works perfectly. The wireless remote makes a good impression because it has, inter alia, a good grasp. NOTE: Charging the iPod via the USB port! Ie USB to Dock -> iPod dock. It should not be a USB hub or USB extensions are used, it reduces the charging current and the iPod is no longer load properly. Unfortunately, the original cable of the iPod is not just long. Especially since I do a lot of nerve think that came with the dock No USB cable is included (which costs in China probably just 20 cents). Does not speak for Apple.
Conclusion: Per - Good workmanship - Perfect sound from the Dock - Synchronize usual - Remote control with good coverage
Contra - No USB cable included - When using a USB hub (even actively) or USB extension interrupts charging current together.
